With most of the Neatly Nested team vaccinated, we were able to celebrate an early and socially distanced Cinco de Mayo gathering at my home! Did you know that Cinco de Mayo celebrates the Mexican army’s victory over France at the Battle of Puebla during the Franco-Mexican War? Our Cinco de Mayo gathering was an excellent opportunity to use some of our new products and support one of our neighbors - Loco Taqueria! Read on for inspiration as you plan your own Cinco de Mayo celebration.
For our Cinco de Mayo celebration, we used this medium-sized white board from Etu to display some appetizers and drink garnishes. If you love guacamole, you need this ceramic bowl which reads “It’s five o’guac somewhere.” It comes with a serving silverplate spoon that says “Holy guacamole.” The Neatly Nested team is obsessed with Brumate’s Shaker Pint, which doubles as a pint glass allowing you to craft the perfect beverage without breaking a sweat or making a mess.
